Masque (CD)
Masque is a classic Kansas work. It's one step further on the road towards the genius if Point of Know Return, in fact this album is only a hair behind. The perfect melodies come off superbly in songs like Child of Innocence, Mysteries and Mayhem (riffing and tempo) and the closer The Pinnacle (mesmerizing vocals and keyboards, similar to Song for America, the song, but even better). Some nice hits open the album, those are not very progressive, but the melodic hard rocking fits them well, too. It's a Woman's Love and Two Cents Worth open the album in great fashion.
