Tombstones is a band from the deep woods of eastern Norway who play suggestive, downtuned and dark doom, with some psych-elements. Tombstones have been playing together for about since 2007..only since 2009 years as a three-piece, since their guitarist tragically died that year. Tombstones have done two records with the legend Billy Anderson (known for working with bands such as Sleep, Electric Wizard etc)..and the latter; "Volume II" was released late 2010 by the Swedish label Transubstans Records. "Volume II" was very well received, and gave the band some good attention, and brought them the opportunity to play outside of Scandinavia. With the arrival of their third album, "Year of the burial", consisting of 6 belly-hitting songs of heaviness, the band sees themselves playing a European tour in September as well as a slot on the "Death doomed the age fest" in Germany. Tombstones are here to conquer and dominate, for years to come!
