Controversial, camp...The Tubes established themselves as an essential live-act in the late 1970s in spite of some adverse press that branded them as base and depraved. Taking a cue from Frank Zappa, they fashioned their own brand of satirical rock theatre. By 1981, when this live concert was recorded, they had refined their act dramatically and the later albums featured melodic power-pop in addition to the anthems "White Punks On Dope" and "Mondo Bondage". These pieces are included on this Hux release together with the single "Don't Want To Wait Anymore". The 8-page booklet includes extensive liner notes and rare photographs.
