When you hear Hypnosia's Extreme Hatred for the first time, you might guess where they are from. Are they from the Bay Area, Germany, Florida, Latin America? No, these guys are from Sweden. When there was a total lack of thrash metal bands in Sweden, Hypnosia was born. A furious mix of Morbid Saint and Kreator was what they unleashed on an unsuspecting world. Before the world even knew that a thrash revival was on its way, this album was already becoming a thrash metal masterpiece. Released in 2000 in Sweden, a country not exactly known for thrash, it helped revive thrash to its wildest form. Sure, it's not the most original album and there's very little variety throughout the album, but it thrashes hard and fast. That's really all you can expect from such a record!
