Esoteric Recordings is pleased to announce a remastered release of the acclaimed 1975 rock version of Sergei Prokofiev's famous work, Peter and the Wolf Originally conceived by Jack Lancaster and Robin Lumley, this imaginative adaptation of the story of Peter and the Wolf was conceived as an animated film, but soon evolved into a rock album featuring some of the best-known musicians of the day Lancaster and Lumley were joined by Viv Stanshall (who took on the role of narrator) and musicians including Manfred Mann, Gary Brooker, Chris Spedding, Gary Moore, Stephane Grappelli, Brian Eno, Keith Tippett, Jon Hiseman, Bill Bruford, Phil Collins, Cozy Powell, Alvin Lee and Julie Tippett.
