Few bands in Germany can claim to be "legendary", Epitaph is certainly one of them - the band, founded in 1969, has been writing music history since the 1970s.
Joint tours with Joe Cocker, Rory Gallagher, Golden Earring or even ZZ Top as well as countless festival appearances made Epitaph one of the most cult German rock groups. Over the years, the old station in Anderten has developed into a practical and popular starting point for a tour for the primeval rock band from the Krautrock era, which still consists of the three founding members Cliff Jackson, Bernie Kolbe and Jim McGillivray and, since the mid-seventies, Heinz Glass.
