A terrific solo album by Nils Lofgren that was never equaled in form by subsequent albums. The album fulfilled the promises he had made with Grin and his workload with Crazy Horse
The album "Nils Lofgren" featured the talented trio consisting of Nils Lofgren on guitar and vocals, Aynsley Dunbar on drums and Wornell Jones on bass. The 1975 release spawned a few classics such as "Back It Up," "If I Say It, It's So," "Can't Buy A Break" and the homage to Keith Richards "Keith Don't Go (Ode to the Glimmer Twin)."
An exceptional cover of Carole King's "Goin' Back" is also among the highlights.
