Amazing album by the late-great Tommy Bolin who, not replaced both Joe Walsh and Ritchie Blackmore successfully (no small feat), but also reinvented himself as a guitarist who was comfortable with almost any genre. All the tracks are stellar, from the flamenco-tinged Gypsy Soul to the progressively horn-heavy Shake The Devil. Bolan's voice is amazingly soulful. Oh the promise of what could have been makes this a must-have.
