Blessing In Disguise (CD)
Hammering hard from the off behind the mega-riffing onslaught of "Fake Healer", Metal Church bid the '80s to a bitchin' close with the release of Blessing in Disguise. The third studio album from the Seattle based group showcases Mike Howe taking over on vocals, while also introducing guitarist John Marshall. Howe, the former Heretic howling front man, established his behind-the-mic competence with authority throughout the 1989 release. Marshall, who had previously earned props for standing-in for James Hetfield, when the Metallica main man was injured in an on-stage explosion, holds his own, as well.
