Rosso Rock: Live In Japan = Papersleeve = (CD)
Forty years after the release of their second album titled "Preludio, Tema, Variazioni e Canzona" Osanna celebrate with an exclusive tribute concert the film "Milano Calibro 9" ("Preludio, Tema, Variazioni e Canzona" was the soundtrack for this film) with the release of this new CD titled "Rosso Rock", recorded live in Japan at the Auditorium "City Club a" in Kawasaki on 6 and 7 November 2011 when Osanna performed for the first time with the new line up "(Lino Vairetti guitar and vocals solo, Gennaro Barba on drums, Nello D'Anna on bass, Pako Capobianco on electric guitar, Sasa Prior on the piano, organ and keyboards and Irvin Vairetti mellotron, synths and vocals). The concert, which saw Osanna play on stage with the strings of the Japanese Orchestra "Tokyo Vielle Ensemble", was recorded and released strictly live in stereo and published without any changes or editing. The set list features the WHOLE PERFORMANCE OF THE HISTORIC OSANNA SECOND ALBUM plus three bonus tracks recorded in studio with the inclusion of a string ensemble directed by Gianluca Falasca Naples, between April and May 2012: the song "Fiume" from "Landscape of Life" LP in '74, and two unreleased brand new songs "O Culore 'e Napule" (dedicated to the city of Naples, highlighting strengths and weaknesses), and "Rosso Rock", a tribute to Peter Hammill, the leader of Van Der Graaf Generator, with a quote from his song "The Light Continent". The lyrics of the three unreleased tracks are Lino Vairetti�s. Released in PAPERSLEEVE EDITION!
