In the mid 90's Sweden's Sacramentum along with such prolific acts as Dissection & Dark Tranquillity forged a unique sound uniting the impact and technical diversity of death metal with the raw darkness of black metal and haunting guitar melodies. The rather short-lived Sacramentum released two masterly examples of this new breed of extreme metal with with 1997's 'The Coming Of Chaos' and 1999's 'Thy Black Destiny'. Both albums have long been out-of-print but now have been remastered into a single collection with new artworks and layouts.
