The Charisma Years 1975 - 1983 = 10 LP Box = (LP)
Please nite this will only be shipped within Sweden, due to it's weight !!! "The Charisma Years 1975-1983" is a comprehensive vinyl box set that encapsulates Steve Hackett's early solo career following his departure from Genesis. Released in 2016, this collection comprises six studio albums--"Voyage of the Acolyte," "Please Don't Touch," "Spectral Mornings," "Defector," "Cured," and "Highly Strung"--along with several live recordings from 1979 and 1981, and a 12-inch live EP featuring Hackett's band performing Genesis' "I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe)" recorded at Oxford New Theatre.
The box set is notable for its meticulous remastering. Steven Wilson provided new stereo mixes and 5.1 surround sound versions for "Please Don't Touch" and "Spectral Mornings," enhancing their sonic depth. Unfortunately, the original multitrack tapes for "Voyage of the Acolyte" and "Defector" were unavailable, so audio engineer Ben Fenner created 'upmixed' pseudo-surround versions for these albums. The remaining albums have been newly remastered from the original master tapes.
