Savoy Brown is back with their best release in a number of years. This CD features a relaxed Kim Simmonds on vocals and guitar playing a set of top-notch original tunes, with the lone exception of Blind Boy Fuller's "Meat Shaking Woman". Kim Simmonds guitar playing is subtle, yet full of emotion and never over the top. You won't find any SRV impersonator on this solid blues rock CD just original, playing from the heart.
