Fifth Angel seem like a little anomaly when you stand back and take a gander at them. Based on the cover itself, it looks like some over-the-top metal illustration that catches the eye while simultaneously causing the onlooker to roll those eyes at how silly it is. The song titles themselves read like something off of a 1980's glam rock band album, and ironically that is sort of what these guys are. Even their band photo has enough polish and glitter to reel in the usual Bon Jovi-Poison crowd. Where Fifth Angel stands above those glam flops is in the songwriting and how insanely catchy the music actually is. Its everything we love about 1980's metal with none of the things we hate about 1980's metal all in one neat little package, from 1986 no less.
