A.A. Nemtheanga says about "Where Greater Men Have Fallen": "Sometime in late 2013 we sat down to tackle album number eight. We moved to a new rehearsal space where initial ideas then began to take shape. We felt it was appropriate to try a new studio and engineer, so we chose Grouse Lodge in the middle of Ireland before bringing in Gomez (Cathedral, Angelwitch, Grave Miasma) to work with us on the record."
The band wanted to keep their typical trademarks, of course, but have a more live-sounding, broader and heavier sound. now in 2014 we are about to release Primordial's eighth album, about which Nemtheanga concludes, "We feel strengthened, especially since we never lost our hunger, and are ready to open a new chapter in our story!"
