What can I say that hasn't already been said? First off this band is oh em eff gee awesome. The vivid imagery depicted in all of their songs makes you feel like you're actually there on the field of batter with a group of viking warriors. Hegg's vocals cut right through you like a waraxe and leave you bleeding on the floor. If I close my eyes and listen to "With Oden on Our Side" it feels like I'm right there with war party getting ready to just straight gank mother fuckers. The same thing that was said about Bathory's "Shores in Flames" can be said about Amon Amarth: if this doesn't make you want to gather a group of viking warriors and go pillage, plunder, kill, and take your country back for your ancestors (even if they weren't vikings) then you need to go listen to something else.
