Sounding much tighter, more confident and focused than on their debut album, Vomitory being to law down the death metal law with far greater authority here. Their style is both recognizably 'Swedish' in nature, but deeper and darker in a feel perspective than other bands we could say the same thing about. They've also become more careful riff and arrangement writers, something which really hits home on strong cuts like "Forty Seconds Bloodbath" and "Forever In Gloom." Great production as well, which makes this the band's first essential purchase to any and all death metal fans out there
