Elifantree manages to change from dream landscapes to fever dreams in the same beat. Her music is enigmatic, unnerving and wonderfully unpredictable. The trio plays music in the structure of jazz, but regularly crosses borders. With strong rhythmic textures, a tenor saxophone, ambient soundscapes and brilliant vocals they create a sound that seems to be much bigger than its individual parts
On their fourth album "Anemone", Elifantree introduces the exciting sounds of the Electric Wind Instrument (EWI) for the first time in their now 10-year band history and opens new and exciting doors in the fields of jazz, pop and improvised music.
