"It was 2017 when I realized that I had lost my direction as a musician. There were many social changes in Finland and I was looking for meaning in my life. I gave up my apartment, went on the road. I gave myself permission to quit the music. I met musician-music producer Jukka Backlund and we started working together. Backlund is originally from Finland, but lives in the United States, and when we met, he was also looking for new interesting challenges in his life. A couple of the vocal demos we made together soon turned into a collection of beautiful compositions. The direction brightened. I knew I wanted to make my first album. The cultural atmosphere in Finland was challenging at the time, and it pushed me towards a dream: I wanted to create an album full of inspiring collaborations, different languages, appreciation, relationship with nature, deeply moving toned music. I moved back to the city and applied for a bank loan for my project. I got a loan. We finished the songs. I booked a studio and played great musicians and audio professionals, and we recorded my first album."
