Ten or fifteen years ago, the idea of Progressive rock was impersonated by bands such as YES or GENESIS. Nowadays, it's all about a state of mind, as said Mike PORTNOY (DREAM THEATER), and he was so right ! The scene has taken a new path towards "alternative" music, not unlike the way taken by MUSE or THE MARS VOLTA. Hailing from central Mexico, SWEET FINGERS can be seen as the living proof.
