T5IDE is a French Progressive rock band performing a pleasant music, without important instrumental developments, and based more on epic guitar parts and keyboards crescendos that can evoke GENESIS in their "Wind And Wuthering" period as well as MARILLION's neo Progressive, though calmer and less dramatic. For its third album, "The Limit" (Musea Parallèle, 2011), the group from the Alsace region strikes back with a new singer, and performs a music without boundaries, mixing rock and Progressive rock, with folk and blues here and there. This has been made in the spirit of the major groups of the Seventies, but with a current sound. The fourth opus "Naked" (Musea Parallèle, 2016) follows the eye of an average man who, after a painful separation, loses his ability to float in the turbulences of our time. He's the groggy boxer who can't stop being hit. Between climatic ("Lost"), social (The speedy "In") and ideological crisis (The genuine Progressive rock of "The Plague Is Back".), our hero receives all the aggressions of the "outside" world straight in the face, not to mention these daily small misfortunes, these lost dreams ("Rage Of Glory") or these false solutions (The hit-single "The Box"). To conclude this inner road-trip, "Merry Go Round" brings back the light in crescendo, as the epic last round ending in beautiful explosions. Not to be missed !
