A guitar player, composer and singer from Spain, José CARBALLIDO (MIZAR, AETERNAM...) composed an performed "Requiem", a musical work for rock band and choir. He was helped by many guests, including a flautist and a keyboards player. Published in the year 2010 on the Musea Parallèle label, this amazing double-album deals with Death and the pain that it leaves behind... The performance merges various musical elements from different styles, almost like a summary of most of the musical resources from the begining of the Music history to our days. Here's a feast for counterpoints, unusual time signatures or extreme modulations, not to mention a slight dose of virtuosity here and there... "Requiem" has been designed to be performed onstage, and has all the power needed.
