Hoc (CD)
FRANC ALBIR is a veteran Catalan band formed by the mid-Eighties. The musicians have released a very few records, "Hoc" (Musea Parallèle, 2013) is their fourth one, that's because they take much care about their productions trying to find the best in terms of sound and writting. Their influences obviously come from the classic British Progressive rock such as GENESIS, CAMEL or MARILLION. They also like to explore some other fields, introducing some hints of jazz, Mediterranean sounds, and powerhouse passages close to heavy-metal. All these together building a great piece of work full of epic and melodic music. Not to be missed !
