This new japanese band is led by female singer and composer Yuki also playing guitars, keyboards and mellotron. Other members of this band are Yoshi on guitars, Masamume on bass, and Mitsugu on drums. This first album, somewhere between GOD SPEED YOU BLACK EMPEROR, SIGUR ROS, RADIOHEAD and ANEKDOTEN, is absolutely innovative and mature in the same time: ethereal female vocals create a sharp contrast with guitar fury and drumming power. Sad atmospheres, often enhanced by mellotron and by a great sense of slowness and softness-evolve little by little, with an increasing violence, to become in the end a musical maelstrom. It's kind of a progressive post-rock, and you can't imagine a more intense musical world. You'll be haunted by it a long time after listening.
