A definitive overview of the British psychedelic scene, this is a monumental set of five CDs and a book containing more than 50 minutes of previously unreleased music from the 1966-68 heyday. Featuring the major acts of the era (The Who, Traffic, Small Faces, The Move, Procol Harum, Incredible String Band, Family, Crazy World of Arthur Brown, etc.) Think I'm Going Weird: Original Artefacts From The British Psychedelic Scene 1966-68 features many of the bands that played the London underground dungeons during the Summer Of Love. Featuring studio demos from bands like Tintern Abbey, The Soft Machine, Mabel Greer's Toyshop, Genesis, Mandrake Paddle Steamer, Dantalian's Chariot and others, as well as numerous iconic 45s (July, Caleb, Vamp, Blossom Toes, Sweet Feeling, etc.) and fascinating album cuts from scene greats like Tomorrow, Fairport Convention, Kaleidoscope, The Deviants and Elmer Gantry's Velvet Opera. Perhaps most tantalisingly, the collection includes a number of previously unknown recordings by bands only now coming to public attention for the first time, including Eyes Of Blond, Tinsel Arcade, Crystal Ship (whose contribution includes lyrics by Pete Brown) and the semi-mythical 117, a name so legendary from the handbills and posters of the era that a British psych fanzine was even named after them in the 1990s. "Think I'm Going Weird..." is a tour de force of licensing and research and comes in a 60-page A5 book format with a 25,000 word track-by-track description and some exceptional and rare photographs and memorabilia.
