Two years ago, the music world had to say goodbye to one of its great representatives: Edgar Froese, the composer, musician, progressive and electro pioneer and Tangerine Dream founder passed away at the age of 70.
However, shortly before his death, Froese worked on a new album, developed a concept and even recorded some parts already. With "Quantum Gate" appears in 2017 this album, which the remaining members of Tangerine Dream completed in his spirit.
The result is an Elektonica album that delights with progressive and atmospheric sounds and diverse synth sounds.
