Witchfynde have a history that goes back to the early days of the movement, but their record making was a long act in frustration. Always bearing Satanic graphics upon their sleeves, they were just as likely to pen evil gum-gnashing metal as they were to write trite rock fare. Their early work is littered with great individual tracks, with single "Give 'Em Hell" particularly being a classic, and by the time of this effort they'd finally thrown off the notions of being a pop band and get down to serious business overall. The title cut is a slow but craftily created anthem, broken by some faux-erotic sound effects, while "Stab In The Back" delivers fast and tight British metal might.
