What a big surprise was the release of "Spot Of Interference" from 1980. A totally different Ian Matthews - no folk or melody laden ballads anymore - ROCK was the way to go! On LP "Shook" had been released on Line Records in 1984, a CD version followed in 1994. Most of the album was done by Matthews and his Plainsong pal Mark Griffiths.
