The Hundreth Monkey is, just as I said, a simply amazing album. It's fine hard and blues rock. It's super charged and filled with adrenaline. Songs like the opener "Something to Say," Paperful of Mouth" and "Loudermilk" get rough and right on you while other songs like "Halfway Up A Tree" and "Dead and Gone" offer up a bit more of a mellower sound. At times this album sounds like it could be an American version of The Brain Police with a focus more on blues rock. It's all because of Chadd Mattison's vocals.
