Listening to this now after about a decade of Pain of Salvation for me makes me really sad. This is just jam packed with amazingness of all forms and really dumped all over the prog world when it appeared. It's sad because of how irrelevant and pointless the band seems these days... yeah, sadly i am one of "those guys", but i just can't handle the loss of god-status this band incurred after TPE 1. Oh well, back in this time and place Pain of Salvation were gods and saviors for me, and this album is as prime as an example as the 3 following.
