Its a good album this with one outstanding number. I think "Songs of Distant Summers" is an eternal classic that hits every kind of melancholic nostalgic mood notes we sometimes crave, soul music for dying embers - i would have dozed in hay fields as a young man with a gorgeous woman to this, i would have camped out at night under a meteor shower to this, i would have hit the bars and clubs of town with my (some dead) friends to this, i would have driven to the coast under a blazing sun to this. Always reaching but never quite grasping - until it has gone.
