As far as I am concerned, Riot should be remembered for one album, but what an album!
'Rock City' is one of the very best pure hard rock albums ever released (and one of the worst covers ever designed, unfortunately, though the artwork of their following two records comes close behind!).
Their next album, Narita, is not as convincing music-wise even if it does include one or two good songs, like its follow-up, the widely yet unfairly praised Fire Down Under, while all their subsequent albums are better left forgotten as this US band gradually switched to the ridiculously fast-paced, incredibly samey speed/heavy metal which, sadly enough, became the norm in the 1980s.
