High Water I = 2 LP = (LP)
If their first release was them honing their chops as a band and prepping the best possible material for this release, it worked in spades. Perfectly pure American southern-tinged rock and roll, equal parts '72 Stones, Big Easy, Allman Brothers, a bit of the Aerosmith/Skynyrd vibes and the best parts of the groovy soulful Black Crowes. The twin guitars of Robinson and Ford are perfection and the new vocalist fits perfectly. Ace keys and rhythm section. This is a good band and about as good as this genre can get at this point. The track For the Wind is pure bliss, but the whole release is quality top to bottom.
