Ice 67 (CD)
"Ice 67" sees The Use Of Ashes return from a five year stay in no man's land. It is the first CD to be released in the band's home country, The Netherlands, on the Rotterdam based ToneFloat label. The Use Of Ashes remain one of the most elusive bands ever to come out of Holland, but nevertheless admired by many as can be judged from their worldwide releases over the years. Ice 67 is an adventurously produced blend of the band's trademark organic psychedelia, folk and kraut with a growing touch of electro and techno. The album clocks in at about 45 minutes. Blissed out and delicate in the vein of Porcupine Tree, early Pink Floyd, Neu. Strongly recommended.
