Azimut 1 = LP = (LP)
Little is known about this extemporary project, also because it lasted just for a single LP, originally released in December 1970, preceded by the 45rpm "Per amore/Oggi domani". It was a 11-piece group, a nucleus tough to keep close, who in fact disbanded soon.
Le Particelle were founded by Paola Orlandi, a singer who was already known in the late '50s. As this project's nature would easily predict, the album "Azimut 1" is a sort of pop opera with multi-vocal singing, a series of coversongs from Italian (Dik Dik, Maurizio e Fabrizio, Patty Pravo...) and foreign (Moody Blues, Cat Stevens, Rare Bird...) artist, for an interesting mix of beat, rock, soul e rhythm'n'blues.
