Wartha's debut full-length is professionally done and well versed folk/pagan black metal with decent songwriting ability. I find much of this release falls flat, particularly their use of keyboards and female vocals. What could have been life-giving elements actually detract from the energy put into the guitar and drum elements. The flute-keyboard moments hover in the middle of the mix, and none of it is particularly memorable or exciting. Their cover of Immortal's "Blashyrkh" where they've used 'clean' vocals and keyboards is interesting, and a good representation of the intention of the release.
