Strana Officina was formed in Italy in the mid-70s. The brothers Fabio (guitar) and Roberto Cappanera (drums) started with bassist Enzo Enzo Mascolo to cover songs by Rory Gallagher, AC/DC, J. Hendrix and Black Sabbath cover
With singer Johnny Salani the first own songs were written, before in 1982 the new shouter Daniele Ancilotti and a second guitarist named Marcello Masi joined the band joined the band
Between 1984 and 1988 various EPs were released, which catapulted Strana Officina to the top of the Catapulted Strana Officina to the top of the Italian metal bands
