Jon Anderson is universally known as the vocalist with the legendary progressive rock band Yes. Jon has been with the band since 1968 save for a couple of occasions when he briefly left to pursue a solo career in the case of the late eighties joined with other former members of Yes in Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe (ABWH). Amongst his noted solo albums Jon has released the albums Olias of Sunhillow, Song of Seven City of Angels and more recently collaborated on the album In Elven Lands which was a musical adaptation of the Lord of the Rings. Change We Must was originally released in 1994 the album places a number of new Anderson compositions alongside old favourites and arranges them for voice and orchestra. The orchestra has long been a fascination for Jon Anderson having worked with an orchestra twice with Yes on the albums Time and A Word and Magnification. Songs featured here include State of Independence from the Jon and Vangelis catalogue alongside the Yes song Hearts and a number of songs from the Jon Anderson solo catalogue including Hurry Home and Under The Sun which had originally appeared on the album In The City Of Angels. This album has been unavailable for quite some time making this reissue a welcome return top the market for the large and dedicated Jon Anderson fan base.
