Simply put, one of the greatest albums ever made from any era or genre. It is of immense quality, both in ideas, execution and musicality. A power trio, of sorts, consisting of drummer, bassist and keyboard player, although the term power would tend to be misleading. There are moments of great subtlety alongside the more powerful passages. If you love the Hammond organ, which I do, this should more than satisfy, as it is the instrument around which this album revolves. The only other keyboard Pete Robinson uses is a piano, also played beautifully in a very Jazzy manner.
