1st Step To Heaven = LP, Gold = (LP)
DAF (Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft) is an influential German electropunk band from Düsseldorf, Germany. The band stated that they had no goals in writing the lyrics, but revolved around Delgado-López's fascination with the sound of certain words. During the recording of their album "Für Immer", the band disbanded. After four years, the band reunited and released "1st Step To Heaven," which was (and still is) their only English-language album. After this release, DAF received much acclaim. John Peel called them "the grandfathers of techno" and house pioneer Adonis said the album was "house before there was house".
