The Outlaws are an American southern/country rock band best known for their 1975 hit "There Goes Another Love Song" and extended guitar jam on "Green Grass And High Tides" (also used in the TV series Breaking Bad) both from their 1975 debut album, plus their 1980 cover of the Stan Jones classic "(Ghost) Riders In The Sky". The Outlaws were famous for the interplay between the lightning fast precision guitar leads of Hughie Thomasson and the second lead Billy Jones, characteristics of the southern rock (Lynyrd Skynyrd) and country vocal harmonies (Byrds, Eagles). This compilation covers the band over the first five albums they made in their first five years (from 1975 to 1980).
