Troldmand (Magician or mystic in Danish) are a space psychedelic kraut rock band from Copenhagen. The band has been jamming in the basement for the last year or so and had recently come out to expose the world to their musical signature. They are influenced most from the great bands of the 60s and 70s like Hawkwind, Amon Duul II, Flower Travelin' Band, and more modern bands like White Hills, Acid Mothers Temple and Øresund Space Collective. The band features two guitars, bass, drums and two space sound generator guys to give it a really spaced out sound (one has left now). This is a multirack recording of their concert from Oct 2010. It was recorded and mixed by Dr. Space (Øresund Space Collective) with help from the band. It features 4 long instrumental pieces that provide a nice musical trip for the listenters. The last song, Rockford, Illinois (it does not sound like a Cheap Trick song!) is like a tribute to 70s Hawkwind. Enjoy..
