The first set of the German electronic rock pioneers Tangerine Dream, "The Virgin Years: 1974 - 1978" with 5 original LPs as well as some rare singles on 3 CDs, released about a year ago, is now followed by the second half of the decade spent on this legendary label
"The Virgin Years: 1977 - 1983" offers all other studio albums on a total of 5 silver discs - 5 in number with "Force Majeure" (1979), "Tangram" (1980), "Exit" (1981, "White Eagle" (1982) and "Hyperborea" (1983) - as well as 2 live records: On the one hand the collection on "Encore" recorded in 1977 during the US tour with the keyboard line-up Edgar Froese, Chris Franke and Peter Baumann, on the other hand the album "Logos" recorded in November 1982 at the London "Dominion Theatre", in which Chris Franke and Johannes Schmoelling press the keys next to mastermind Edgar Froese. The two tracks of the 77 single "Monolight" b / w "Hobo March" as well as 2 more bonus tracks are released for the first time on CD.
