Ruins = Digipack = (CD)
Solid mixture of tumultuous psych storm and dulcet dreamlike balladry as well as stomping hazy noise and slumbering near-folkadelia if you needed further reference points. Not bothered with being in a hurry to get anywhere it none-the-less unfolds in a pretty brisk 46 minute trip, never quite falling into the pit of droning ass sniffery. There are a couple of Reprise tracks that feel like tack ons, otherwise in the album's time span Ruins wears plenty of 1970s golden era psych worship on it's sleeve ... so the wisened tie-dyed fogies amongst the multitudes will likely find a sturdy temple built by these lycanthropical dudes. Damn fine and frankly reliable (perhaps a bit old hat ... which was the best hat) material that comes up as just somewhat short of great.
