This album is a deep, heartfelt reflection on how we felt in 2020 / 2021, a documentation of life during the pandemic. Although much of the sadness and otherness was personal to us, I'm sure many can relate to the content. There was simply no other inspiration, only that of writing and setting life as we felt it. We truly believe the strength of this work from song to song could be our best yet, it was 18 months in the making and the longest studio schedule we have ever experienced. The icing on the cake comes from Troy Donockley of Nightwish and Chris Leslie of Fairport Convention, who make a wonderful guest appearance on the album. The musical palette of the award winning Mostly Autumn is diverse, they draw on influences from the golden age of rock but have developed their own unique sound that both captures the essence of that era and looks to the future. They have made a name for themselves for their outstanding live shows and have been called "the best band you've never heard".
