After Ayreon only released their live album "Electric Castle Live and Other Tales" at the beginning of 2020, a new studio record of the progressive metal band around the Dutch musician Arjen Lucassen is now coming out. "Transitus" is the name of the concept album, which this time does not move in the Ayreon universe. Instead there is a gothic horror story set in 1884. The main characters are Abby and Daniel. As always, Lucassen will be supported by numerous top-class guests, including former Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider, guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani, Simone Simons from Epica, Tommy Karevik from Kamelot, guitarist Marty Friedman and many others. The narrator was former Doctor Who actor Tom Baker.
