Amigos (CD)
I guess there are really only two ways to listen to Amigos, Santana's 7th studio album. The first option would be to remember standing there at the concert, or even in a club, with this music loudly dominating the scene. There is smoke everywhere, and your latest attempt to give up has become a cropper as someone passes you one along.
Santana is in supreme, form, as always, letting his guitar work and band leading skills to allow the music to permeate the atmosphere. Despite those who already know that this is yet another phasing phase, you hope that the music will remain. The atmosphere and the music is that good.
