The all-star supergroup was founded in 1998 by Jonas Renkse and Anders Nyström (both Katatonia), Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth) and Dan Swanö (Edge Of Sanity), and from the very beginning Bloodbath have been dedicated to pure and authentic old-school death metal.
