British born musician Asher Quinn is probably best known for his association with the "New Age" music genre that became massively popular during the eighties and nineties. Since Asher's debut album in 1987 he has sold more than half a million albums to a large and dedicated audience drawing comparisons to musicians such as Peter Gabriel and Phillip Glass and composers Ennio Morricone and Hans Zimmer. Many of his albums have topped the New Age and ambient charts the world over and to date he has released more than twenty albums. Sketches of Innocence is a compilation drawing on three of Asher's New Age albums recorded and released between 1986 and 1988 (Single As Love, Art Of Love and Resurrection) featuring piano based pieces. The album has been edited and remastered by Asher Quinn and Phil Thornton who originally produced the album alongside Asher Quinn. Tracks include Mayflower, Gospel and Piano Moon and is considered the ideal Chill Out album and a perfect introduction to the New Age style of Asher Quinn.
