Live At FT. Lauderdale 30th December 1992 = 3 CD = (CD)
Paul Kantner's Wooden Ships is basically the name of a band which to all intents and purposes was the latest edition of Jefferson Starship albeit in a more stripped down acoustic format. All the members featured here had at some point been members of Jefferson Starship. Three members (Kantner, Balin and Creach) had been founder members of the band back in the seventies. This live recording spread across three discs was recorded in Fort Lauderdale in December 1992 and across the three discs are many Jefferson Starship and Jefferson Airplane classics including The Other Side Of Life, Have You Seen The Stars Tonight, America, Starship, Volunteers and Wooden Ships. This concert was also amongst the last to feature Papa John Creach who died in early 1993.
